REVACYCLE project

2025 – 2026
Research and development of reversible fastening elements as a technology with an impact on the value chain of recycling complex consumer products.

The REVA-CYCLE project aims primarily to develop reversible joining systems for complex consumer products, incorporating magnetic and/or conductive additives that allow the joints to be heated and disassembled through electromagnetic induction at the end of the product’s life cycle. In this way, material separation is facilitated, and the recyclability of products that are normally difficult to manage as waste is significantly improved. The project thus seeks to offer an innovative solution that meets the growing regulatory demands and has a positive impact on sectors such as textile, footwear, the automotive industry and the adhesives sector.

FUNDING ENTITY: Co-funded by the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021–2027, within the framework of the CERVERA Technology Transfer R&D Projects programme.
