REVACYCLE project
2025 – 2026
Research and development of reversible fastening elements as a technology with an impact on the value chain of recycling complex consumer products.
See R&D project2025 – 2026
Obtaining functional additives from lignin waste.

The LIGNBATCH project aims to valorise lignin, an abundant by-product of the paper industry, by transforming it into functional masterbatches (MBs) that provide properties
such as UV protection, antioxidant action, antimicrobial activity, and flame retardancy. To achieve this, the project focuses on developing and optimizing advanced lignin
fractionation techniques, selecting the most suitable fractions according to their functionalities, and scaling up their incorporation into polymers at an industrial level,
thus promoting more sustainable plastic materials and contributing to a circular economy.
FUNDING ENTITY: Co-funded by the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021–2027, within the framework of the CERVERA Technology Transfer R&D Projects programme.
