TITTLE:
Strategies to extend the life of lithium-ion batteries based on new materials and cell sensing.
DESCRIPTION:
The objective of the project is to address one of the current problems of batteries: the degradation of lithium-ion battery life.
To increase autonomy and reduce waste from lithium-ion batteries, it is necessary to extend the lifespan of electrochemical cells.
The project focuses on three specific objectives to tackle the challenge of extending lithium-ion battery life: synthesis of new materials, development of sensors, and design of the integration of the sensor into the Li-ion cell, along with post-mortem analysis.
